Training is delighted to host Jacky Ruddock, owner of Talking Dogs Rally for a day of training for Talking Dog Rally instructors. Beginner and current trainers very welcome. 6 handler spaces @£90 Multiple spectator spaces @ £70 Indoor venue, lunch provided, onsite toilet. If you are interested in teaching TD rally in classes or workshops or would like to brush up on your knowledge and technique, this workshop is ideal for you. The day will cover signs, levels, running classes, trials and more. Handler clients will be able to particpate hands on throughout and questions are of course, encouraged and welcome.
BTAC Barn Hunt Workshop Suitable for all dogs aged 6 months and over. No experience necessary as the sessions are multi ability. Experienced partnerships will be challenged further understanding the dogs' indications and changes in body language as they search for the rat tubes. We will build on existing knowledge, introduce new challenges, additional searches and work on trial skills too. Beginners will be introduced to the joy of barn hunting. We will introduce the scent, offer simple searches and quick wins, progressing as your dog dictates - it is their learning speed that drives the path we take :) In the UK we use DEAD rats, responsibly sourced from reptile feed suppliers. Rats are held in tubes which prevent you or your dog from seeing them.
